For the Everyday Ordinary...
"Normal Day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so. One day I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all in the world, for your return." ~ Mary Jean Iron

The Bestest Week EVER!
My daughter and her children planned to relocate to the Northwest Coast (we are currently in the mid-Southeast Coast) in July. We got a call from her telling us that they would be relocating 2 months sooner than expected, so all plans were put on hold so we could have the kids come visit for one last week before they flew away to the other side of the U.S.
I love the idea of scrapbooking (and I always intend to create some scrapbooks...), but I never seem to be able to get around to it. Instead, I love to make photo stories. Here is the one I made of our last week together:
It really was the best week ever! I will miss them so, so much - but I'm grateful we got the week to do lots of fun things!
Keep it Joyful,
